Avery C. Demland joined the firm in 2023 as an associate attorney. Avery is from Hicksville, Ohio and graduated from Hicksville High School in 2016. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Indiana University in 2020 and continued her education at Ohio Northern Pettit College of Law, where she received the Outstanding Law Student of Ohio Northern Pettit College of Law for the year 2023 from The National Association of Women Lawyers, the 2022 Pettit College of Law Public Interest / Pro Bono Award for her work with crime victims, and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023.

Avery joins the firm after interning in Findlay, Ohio at Drake, Phillips, Kuenzli & Clark throughout law school. She is accepting new clients and represents both individual and business clients in a broad range of legal matters, including the areas of estate planning and administration, real estate matters, domestic relations, personal injury, business law, guardianships, appeals and other cases advancing her general practice. Avery is active in Williams County, Fulton County, Defiance County, and the surrounding areas. Avery is a member of both the Ohio State Bar and Williams County Bar Associations.

Avery spends her free time working and racing for One Five Motorsports, her family-owned race team that runs in the CRA JEGS All-Stars Tour. She has also previously been an assistant volleyball coach at Hicksville High School. Avery is an avid animal-lover and has her goldendoodle, Cooper, and two cats, Kiwi and Pocket to keep her busy.
